Note: Pre-LCI models do not have the additional hole on the fender as the LCI models do, for the extra tab on the end of the tail of the chrome piece. This tab is extremely thin, so that it can be easily snapped off to install on the fender of a pre-LCI Z4. The backside of the marker light has pre-applied double sided sticky tape, which is what actually holds the light to the fender. The tab is not necessary for the installation, just an alignment tab used on the later model LCI Z4's.
Because you would be modifying this part to retrofit to an earlier pre-LCI Z4, these lights cannot be returned once you snap these extra tabs and the customer does so at their own risk. It's a simple, common modification and there are multiple tutorials available on google.
